Versions

Each commit is major.minor.patch. The first publish is 1.0.0. One save takes its highest change class.

Patch

Wording, model, connection, an output-field description, or an enum type_name. The hashed schema stays. The next Execute for that hash uses the new commit. Do not regenerate.

Minor

A compatible schema change on the same hash: add an optional input, add an output field, make a required input optional, make an optional output field required, or add an enum option.

Major

A breaking schema change mints a new contract and schema hash. Hosts still sending the old hash keep that contract. Run switchyards generate, deploy the host, then click I've deployed the host.

Live and Host update pending

Live means the newest hash equals the acknowledged hash. Host update pending means they differ. The banner is an acknowledgment. Confirming the host deployed does not move traffic.
